1000kW Turgo hydro turbine generator designed for efficient hydroelectric power generation with advanced impulse turbine technology.
Overview
The Turgo impulse turbine operates effectively within water head ranges of 30 to 300 meters. Its unique design features a jet flow center angled at 22.5° to the runner gyration plane, with water flow contracted by spray nozzles entering one side of the runner and exiting from the opposite side.
Horizontal units offer simple structure, convenient maintenance, reduced plant height, and minimized excavation depth requirements. Vertical units feature compact plant dimensions, support multiple nozzles (up to six), provide high specific speed, offer greater capacity in smaller sizes, and deliver lightweight construction advantages.
