Kaplan turbine generator has dual adjustment performance which means the guide blades and runner blades are both adjustable. therefore, Kaplan turbine generator is able to keep stable operation and high efficiency whil the heads and loads change greatly.

The Axial water turbine((Kaplan)) is suitable for low and medium heads from 2 to 30 meters. the runner of machine can work with fixed and adjustable accordingly to situtation on site.the fixed blade propeller water turbine is used for medium and small sites with small variation of head and load, and the Kaplan turbine is used for medium and large sites with large variation of head and load.
