The inclined-jet turbine is primarily designed for power stations with high head and low flow conditions. Water flows from the reservoir through the diversion pipe and exits the nozzle at high velocity onto the runner blades, causing rotation. After passing through the runner, water discharges into the tailwater tank and downstream channel.
This turbine is suitable for small hydropower stations with water heads of 20-200m, converting water energy into electrical power. Available in vertical or horizontal shaft configurations with manual, automatic, or electric speed regulation options.
Key design features include an inclined runner blade axis (45° angle), welded stainless steel wheel chamber, and 24-guide blade mechanism with water-lubricated wooden bearings. The optimized flow path from volute to draft tube enhances efficiency while reducing unit footprint.
